Switch to EDPnet
Switching to EDPnet? Easy if you follow these instructions.
- Ask information about the expiry date of your subscription and the period of notice with your current provider.
- You order with EDPnet mentioning that you already have an internet connection with another provider. You can ask us to activate your EDPnet subscription at the expiry date of your current subscription (this is no guarantee, as the exact activation date cannot be assured - activation can take up to 20 working days).
- Meanwhile you cancel your subscription with your current provider (with a clear mention of the expiry date).
Another possibility:
- You cancel your current subscription first (the cancellation of an ADSL signal can take up to 2 weeks).
- You order a new subscription with EDPnet. During the cancellation period, EDPnet cannot process an application for a new subscription. You need to take a period into account of approximately 20 days during which you will not dispose of an internet connection.
EDPnet prepared a letter of cancellation for you :
Your current subscription isn't expired yet?
EDPnet can remind you of your expiry date
Attention for a cancellation with Belgacom!
Send your letter of cancellation when the activation date is known with EDPnet. For most of the customers, a minimum period of notice of 7 days is valid after the first contract year (this advice is not assured so please contact Belgacom for confirmation).
Is my modem compatible with an EDPnet subscription?
Off course, you just need to renew your username and password in order to connect to EDPnet. If you ordered VDSL, you need a VDSL modem.
